Some will be decaffeinated or have flavorings added, which can happen at either site.

Once purchased, coffee should be kept in a cool, dark place, preferably in an air-tight container. Too much humidity can cause the grind to lump together, and so a dry environment is preferred. Most people keep the ungrounded beans in their freezer.
